Getting started with Trezor.io/Start
This guide walks you through setting up your Trezor device via Trezor.io/Start safely. Install Trezor Suite & Bridge, connect your device, set a secure PIN, back up your recovery seed, create accounts, and test transactions.

What you need
Never share your recovery seed. Keep it offline and secure.
Install Trezor Suite & Bridge
Go to Trezor.io/Start, download official Trezor Suite & Bridge, and follow installer prompts.
Avoid third-party downloads to prevent fraud.
Go to Trezor.io/StartInitialize your Trezor device
Connect device, set a PIN, generate recovery seed, write it down carefully, and confirm on device.
Make multiple physical copies and store securely. Never take a photo.
- Use 6–8 digit PIN; avoid patterns.
- Write all recovery words in order.
- Confirm on device; never on computer.
- Keep offline and private.
Connect Trezor Suite
Launch Suite, connect device, verify authenticity, view dashboard. Install only required apps.
Uninstall apps later if not needed.
Add crypto accounts
Click Accounts → Add account, select asset, open device app, sync addresses, and name accounts clearly.

Receive test funds
